Planning a stay at 30A Beachouse? Here are answers to the questions we hear most from guests before they arrive.
How many people does the house sleep?
30A Beachouse comfortably sleeps up to twelve guests across three bedrooms: a Master Suite with a king bed, a Guest Suite with two queen beds, and a Bunk Room with two queen-over-queen bunks — a longtime favorite with the kids of the group.
How far is the beach?
It’s about a ten-minute walk to the turquoise water of Blue Mountain Beach, with three additional public beach accesses close by if you’d like to explore a quieter stretch of sand.
Is there parking?
Yes — the house has a private driveway with space for a car, so you won’t need to worry about street parking during your stay.
What’s the Sky Lounge?
It’s the rooftop retreat that guests love most — plush outdoor couches, a fire pit, and an outdoor projector for movie nights under the stars. It’s a favorite spot for morning coffee, sunset drinks, and late-night stargazing.
Can we book a private chef?
Yes. Through our partnership with yhangry, you can book a vetted local chef to plan, shop, cook, and clean up for a night — a nice option for a special occasion or simply a night off from cooking.
What’s check-in and check-out like?
Specific times are confirmed at booking, and most stays run on a Saturday-to-Saturday schedule during peak season. If you need an earlier check-in or later checkout, just ask — we’ll do what we can to accommodate it.
Do we need a car?
Not for most of the trip. Coffee shops, restaurants, and beach access are all within walking distance. A car is useful for day trips to Seaside, Rosemary Beach, or the state parks along 30A, but it can stay parked in the driveway the rest of the time.
What if something comes up during our stay?
Because you’re booking direct, you’re in touch with the people who actually manage the house — not a third-party call center. If a question comes up before or during your stay, you’ll get a real, quick answer.
